This policy explains how we handle the personal data of people who visit kunoway.com and of people who write to us, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
What data we collect
- Contact form: name, email, phone or WeChat (optional), city, type of request and message.
- Emails you send directly to info@kunoway.com.
- Visit statistics, only if you accept them: Google Analytics collects data on the pages visited, the device and the approximate location. Details are in the Cookie policy.
The server that receives the form does not store your IP address: it uses it only, in memory, to limit the number of submissions and discourage spam.
Why we process it and on what basis
- Replying to your request and preparing a quote: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Visit statistics: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
- Requests and emails, including the copy in our internal management system: as long as needed to reply. If a working relationship begins, for its duration and the periods required by law; if not, at most 24 months from the last contact.
- Statistics: for the period set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Akamai Technologies (Linode): the server that hosts the site and receives the form, and the one running our internal management system, in Milan, where we keep a copy of the requests sent through the form.
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365): the info@kunoway.com mailbox.
- The email delivery provider used by the form.
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), only if you accept statistics. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing and receive it in a readable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), and withdraw any consent you gave. Write to info@kunoway.com: we reply within one month.
If you believe the processing is not correct, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
